“Looking back, the signs were all there, creativity has always been my thing”
Rewind
Rewind to little me: playing teacher with a classroom full of teddy bears, insisting on complete control over my outfits, and sneaking behind the camera to capture the world from unusual angles. Looking back, the signs were all there, creativity has always been my thing. Although my parents worked in careers far removed from the creative world, I inherited a few key ingredients along the way. My mum’s love of interiors, colours, textures and shapes sparked my appreciation for all things aesthetic, while my brother’s eagle eye for detail taught me that the smallest touches can make the biggest difference!
Fast forward
Fast forward to school and college, I immersed myself in art, photography, media studies and dance, I was always drawn to subjects that allowed ideas to come to life. Those years fuelled my curiosity and confirmed that creativity wasn’t just a hobby, eventually leading me to study Fashion Graphics at Southampton Solent. University was where I really refined my creative toolkit, from mastering Adobe software, designing websites to creating fashion prints and learning design practices in between. I became especially fascinated by image manipulation and was hooked by the endless possibilities of transforming an image through layered blends, bold colours, playful shifts in scale, and movement.
My degree launched my career as a Junior Designer at TEMPLESPA, a British luxury skincare brand with wellness at its core. Passionate about skincare and wellbeing, I found the role to be a natural fit. I spent over five years developing my design, communication and organisational skills while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
The next chapter
Seeking new challenges, I progressed to Tisserand Aromatherapy, where I continue to grow within the wellness industry. The role has enabled me to lead creative projects and deliver key initiatives, including a full website visual refresh and redesign of email communications. But design is never a full stop, and neither is my journey. With a passion for continuous growth, I look forward to seeing where the next chapter takes me!
